The company's technology center was founded in 2002. The company has carried out industry-university-research cooperation with University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and jointly established a joint research institute for enhanced heat transfer, dedicated to the development of high-efficiency and energy-saving components. It has also built the first copper tube heat transfer performance test bench in China. In 2009, the company's technology center was recognized as a provincial-level engineering technology center. In 2010, relying on the technology center, the Jiangsu Province Enterprise Academician Workstation was established in cooperation with Xi 'an Jiaotong University. The "New Type of Copper and Copper Alloy High-Efficiency Seamless Finned tube" developed by the company's technology center has reached the international advanced level and won the first prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of China's Nonferrous Metals Industry in 2010. With the advancement of the company's 15,000-ton high-precision finned tube project per year, the Technology Center will increase the purchase of new detection equipment and testing instruments as well as the development of new process technologies, so as to bring the detection equipment and technical level to the international advanced level.
Relying on the enterprise technology center as a platform, the company develops multiple new products every year. The developed project products mainly focus on aspects such as product upgrading and replacement, energy and material conservation, and process optimization. The main projects include copper alloy high-efficiency condensers, spray-type evaporators, stainless steel low-finned tubes, extra-high finned tubes, straight inner grooved tubes, and new production processes for finned mother tubes, etc. This has increased the company's new product series and varieties. Additionally, the company has trial-produced various tube types for the Tianjin Seawater Desalination Research Institute and assisted it in completing the National 973 Program project
